Here's what we know:

We know that people with education and training, who are in work, are less likely to offend and are more likely to make good citizens. However, having a criminal record poses many challenges to securing employment regardless of how long it has been since the last conviction.

Working to Change is all about meaningful employment, about removing barriers to support individual change, creating fair and accessible routes to work for people with criminal records, while ensuring the safety of the entire community.

This website to a one-stop shop for updates on progress made on the implementation of the Working to Change strategy. It will highlight key achievements, big & small, any systemic barriers encountered along the way but more importantly, the solutions put in place in order to overcome them.
